This blog is part of the local outreach effort of the Dry Stone Conservancy, a non-profit organization founded in 1996 to preserve existing drystone structures, and to revive and promote the ancient craft of dry-laid stone masonry. The blog will chronicle the activities of the Kentucky Outreach staff and volunteers as they preserve drystone resources in their communities.
